HE Details Screen
The HE Details screen enables you to enter the default values for the learner’s HE record from the 2018/19 funding year.
Note: This tab can only be accessed when special details are selected for the enrolment.
The fields on the HE Details screen are described in the following table.

| Student instance identifier | An identification of the basic unit of 'a coherent engagement with the provider, aiming towards the award of a qualification(s) or credit' which is described in the HIN guidance section of HESA website. | NUMHUS |
| ELQ | Whether a student is aiming for an Equivalent or Lower Qualification (ELQ) than one already achieved. | ELQ |
| Highest qualification on entry | The highest qualification on entry. | QUALENT3 |
| SOC Occupation Code | Used to record the occupation of the learner if aged 21 or over at the start of the course, or the occupation of the learner's parent or guardian, if the learner is under 21. It can be derived from the UCAS admissions system for UCAS entrants. | SOC2000 |
| Socio-Economic Indicator | To identify the socio-economic classification of learners participating in HE. | SEC |
| Mode of Study | An indicator of the mode of study expressed in terms of the HEFCE Higher Education in Further Education: Students survey (HEIFES) definitions. The mode recorded should be the mode at the end of year of programme of study being funded, or, if this is after the end of the ILR year, the mode on 31 July. | MODESTUD |
| Level for HEIFES | An indicator of the level of the programme of study, expressed in terms of the HEFCE HEIFES definitions. | FUNDLEV |
| Student Instance FTE | Student instance FTE represents the institution's best academic judgement of the full-time equivalence of the learner (for this record) during the reporting year 01 August to 31 July. | STULOAD |
| Student Instance Year | To indicate the year number that the student is in since enrolling for a course leading to the student's qualification aim (whether or not the intended subject or class has changed) i.e. number of years on this student instance. | YEARSTU |
| Major Source of Fees | The major source of tuition fees for the learner. | MSTUFEE |
| % Subject 1-3 | The proportion of Learning Directory Classification System (LDCS) fields indicate the relative percentage of the current year of programme of study that the LDCS subject area(s) make up. This field, PCSLDCS and PCTLDCS should be considered as a block of related data. | PCFLDCS |
| Special Fee Indicator | Records any special or non-standard fees. | SPECFEE |
| HE Centre Location | The location of the HE centre or college where the learner undertakes tuition. | HEPostCode |
